The Melbourne Flower Company Delivery Guide
We guarantee that flower orders will be delivered 9AM to 5PM for business addresses and 7pm for residential addresses, however exceptions may apply based on the geographic location of the order and courier availability.
While you have the opportunity to nominate a preferred time of delivery in the “special instructions” part of your order it is not possible to guarantee that these times will be achieved.
Should an order be re-delivered due to unavailability of the recipient or incorrect recipient information or changes to the recipient information, The Melbourne Flower Company may make requests to charge additional fees and a re-delivery fee will be charged according to the post code of the re-deliver suburb. Re-deliveries may be completed on the next available delivery date.

In all cases in the recipient is not home, does not respond when contacted of residence, or does not answer the door when courier attempts delivery they will leave order in a safe and shady place of the residence, with the buildings reception or leave the order with a neighbour. The Melbourne Flower Company will not be responsible should the recipient refuse to collect the order or if the order is left on premises as a result of not being able to gain access into the premises or left there at your request.
Should you choose to have the order left at the front door The Melbourne Flower Company is not responsible and refunds will not be provided should the flowers deteriorate due to weather conditions or being left unattended whether or not we were instructed by you to do so.
Order cut off time
Same day delivery can be guaranteed for flower products delivered within Melbourne Metro if these orders are received before 2pm Monday-Friday, 12am Saturdays, and 10am on Sunday.
Same day orders that are not possible due to stock availability or geographic location may be processed on the next available delivery date. There is currently no guarantee delivery available on public holidays, unless it has been pre-arranged with staff member by phone. Deliveries that come in on these days will be discuss with customer.

We cannot deliver on Christmas day but we will be delivery on Christmas Eve (Melbourne Inner Metro Areas). Due to the large volume of orders The Melbourne Flower Company will be delivering for Christmas we cannot guarantee or provide a delivery time for these orders. Rest assured, your order will be delivered as soon as possible. Any orders placed after the cut off time may not be delivered until the next available delivery date after Christmas.
The cut off times for Valentine’s Day deliveries will be the business day before the 14th of Feb. Due to the large volume of orders The Melbourne Flower Company will be delivering for Valentine’s Day we cannot guarantee or provide a delivery time for these orders. Rest assured, your order will be delivered as soon as possible. Business address deliveries will be done by 5pm and residential deliveries by 8pm. Please be aware that any orders placed ON Valentine’s Day is not guaranteed and may be delivered on the next available day.
Due to the large volume of orders and availability of couriers in Mother’s Day ( Sunday) it may be necessary for us to have some orders delivered the day before ( Saturday) The Melbourne Flower Company will inform you by email if this is the case, The Melbourne Flower Company cannot guarantee or provide a delivery time for these orders. Rest assured, your order will be delivered as soon as possible
